Teresa’s Story

Teresa Pillai grew up in the Bay Area, spending much of her childhood in Palo Alto and Cupertino. She studied at and worked in New York for two years before going to get her MBA at in Fontainebleau and Singapore. Today, she works as an associate at Washburne Ventures in London.

Dario’s Story

Dario Chopra was born in Mumbai and spent much of his life in Hong Kong, moving to Paris at the age of 18 to study fine art. His work is known for blurring the line between technology and art and has been selected for display at exhibitions in Paris, Shanghai, and New York.

Our Relationship

We met in 2009, at a backpacker hostel in Amsterdam. We hit it off immediately, bonding over our love of Gauguin and jazz. We had a magical time together in France during Anya's first year at grad school, and we both knew it was time. We were engaged in March 2014, and now we're getting married!

Doors Open

The celebration begins as the doors open to welcome our cherished family and friends. From 12:00 noon, we invite you to join us in anticipation of the magical day ahead. Relax and mingle as soft, delightful music sets the tone, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere. Weather permitting, feel free to wander outdoors and soak in the beauty of the surroundings.

Ceremony


At 1:00 pm, we’ll gather to celebrate what has already been 15 years of love, laughter, and partnership. With you, our dearest family and friends, as witnesses, we’ll exchange vows that reflect our journey and commitment to continue this adventure together.

Reception

  • Drinks Reception (1:30 pm):
    Let the celebrations commence! Following the ceremony, enjoy a refreshing drinks reception complemented by a selection of exquisite canapés. Whether you prefer to sip, nibble, or both, this is the perfect time to relax and share in the joy of the day.

  • Wedding Breakfast (3:00 pm):
    Join us for a sumptuous wedding breakfast. A carefully curated menu awaits, paired with heartwarming speeches and laughter that will fill the room.

  • Evening Reception (7:00 pm):
    As the sun sets, the evening reception begins. The music turns lively, and the dance floor awaits. Whether you choose to dance the night away or simply enjoy the ambiance, the evening promises unforgettable moments.
